New Indoor Equine Pool Complex and Veterinary Centre Opened at Manor House Stables
31/10/2011
On Sunday 30th October Michael Owen and Andrew Black were joined by their resident Trainer, Tom Dascombe, to officially open the latest facility at their prestigious Manor House Stables racehorse training yard.
The KWA-design facility is part of a phased development plan which, over the last four years, has seen the site transformed from an arable farm to a thriving racehorse training centre with over 90 horses stabled on site, an impressive administration block and Owner’s lounge, an all weather gallop, a grass gallop as well as a Trainer’s House and onsite staff accommodation for riders.
The latest facility will allow hydro-training regimes to take place throughout the year and incorporates facilities such as an indoor horse walker/dryer. The veterinary centre will allow the majority of veterinary treatment to take place on site including suitable facilities for x-rays.
